Providence After School Alliance (PASA)The Afterzone: Free after-schooling programming for middle school students offered at Nathan Bishop, Esek Hopkins, Gilbert Stuart, Del Sesto, and Roger Williams Middle Schools. Activities range from learning to sail, playing rugby or flag football, breakdancing to horseback riding and more and include transportation and snacks!
The Hub: Free after-schooling programming for high school students offered at Alvarez and the Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex . Activities range from debate, DJ workshops, to engineering and more.
Community Music WorksProvides free weekly lessons and string instruments to Providence youth. Students apply by filling out a form to get put on the waitlist. Located at 1392 Westminster St.
New Urban Arts Runs after-school art programs for high-school students. Located at 705 Westminster St.
Providence CityArts Free arts education for youths age 8-14; registration on a first-come, first-serve basis. Located at 891 Broad Street.
Providence Youth Student Movement (PrYSM) A non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to engaging South East Asian youth in confronting “State, street, and interpersonal violence” –may be a great community for Burmese youth. Located at 669 Elmwood Ave.
